" I already loved Birkenstocks. When I saw these black ones I knew I had to have them. The black hardware is amazing. I love that they used this instead of a silver hardware. It makes it easier so that I can wear these shoes with gold or silver jewelry. I am a size 9 in U.S. and got a 39. The size 40 was slightly too long. "

Great fit
" This shoe is a great fit, initially it was stiff but after one day wear the shoe molded to my foot, I have to remember that I have other shoes, I LOVE to wear them daily!! "

Awesome fit
" I typically wear a size 8.5 in heels and 9 in sneakers. I was very nervous about getting the right size - I ended up going with size 8 (39). I LOVE THESE!! The fit is just right, not too big, not too small. "
