"This is the first pair of Bostonian Shoes that I have ever purchased. My foot tends to run a little wider than most, so I ordered an 8 1/2 wide. When I got them, they were too big. I returned them for an 8 Wide and have been wearing the shoes for about six months. I am very satisfied with the shoes. They are a classic design when today all you see are square toed shoes. The shoe was a little stiff at first, but after a short time, they were fine. They wear well, look great and I would recommend them to someone looking for a classic looking shoe."

"My first pair of this particular shoe was my confirmation (well over 10 years ago) and have consistanly worn them since. These shoes are a great investment and plan on purchasing them till they stop making them. Very long lasting, classy look, great shoe."

For the well-dressed man.....like mine!
"This is a fantastic shoe for a suit or slacks and a button-up. The "burgundy" option (I call it ox blood) is so versatile. It even looks great with black pants, oddly enough. My bf ALWAYS get compliments when he wears these and he wears them alot. He says they are super comfy and even after a year of his abuse they still look pretty new."

"Bostonian Evanston Leather Tassel Slip On are very stylish and very comfortable shoes that will make a lasting impression. I bought the Burgundy and wore to my High School reunion. Everyone made excellent comments. I will be buying the black soon. The leather is rich and the design conspicuous."

"Looked for a comfortable shoe for business casual. Bought the black pair in the store. Bought the burgundy pair online.
Well made. Fits true to size. Chose these for comfort, looks and the manmade soles. Manmade soles tend to last a little longer than the leather soles for me."
