Not as advertised
" I decided to give these New Balance a shot because I wanted something more retro than your average sneaker. Having never worn NB before, I went for it after reading the rave reviews saying how comfortable these were. I was disappointed on receiving these in the mail when I saw that the insole is actually very thin, and did not provide much cushioning at all. Being a teacher on my feet all day, I couldn't imagine these would feel good after a long day. The shoe also made my feet look longer (I wear a size 6). The suede wasn't dark black, but very brushed and worn-looking. I went back to the store to return them and tried them on again side-by-side with a pair of lace-up Sketchers with a memory foam insole. I went with those instead...much more comfortable and light weight! "

So very comfortable
" I have had trouble finding a pair of stylish looking "sneakers" that were comfortable. I tried several brands and they were too clunky, too heavy or had funny seams that we're not comfortable for all day wear. These are leather so they do not get too hot and they have a great insole.
One small issue, the laces are a little short and I had to get longer ones as I couldn't make a bow. "
