Cute but not perfect
" These shoes are super cute and go with just about everything. They're comfy and not at all bulky- much smaller than a regular pair of sneakers. I've had them for over a year and a half now and would definitely give them a positive review. However there are a few things you would want to be aware of before ordering these so you are not disappointed: 1) They are more fashion sneakers than real athletic shoes - they have relativly thin soles and no arch support. Ok for walking around but you wouldn't want to use them for running or real serious exercise; 2) When they first arrive they are really, really stiff. I was initially concerned that I'd made a mistake because seriously they were so stiff I couldn't flex my foot. But give them 24 hours of walking around the house and they loosen up. Within a day or two mine were fine - no stiffer than any other sneaker; 3) Like some other reviewers noted, these are pretty narrow, esp. around the side of the toe area. For most people it is probably fine (if you loosen the laces and do that 24-hours of walking around the house thing the sides of the shoe also loosen up) but if you know that you have a very wide foot, these probably won't stretch enough to ever be comfortable for you. Now that I've had them for a long time, I've noticed the suede where my pinky toe is has a hole forming. Not to scare anyone, my foot didn't rub the side of the shoe or get blisters or anything like that but I guess because the shoe is kind of narrow, my foot must have put pressure in that area so it gave out first. But I wear these shoes a lot and it took almost 2 years, so I'd say they held up well. "

LOVE these shoes!

Cute but not durable.
" I bought these shoes a few months ago. I've been looking for a cute pair of casual sneakers in a neutral (but not boring) color for over a year. I found these at DSW and thought they were great. They are comfy but I wouldn't suggest them as a substitute for athletic shoes. They're stylish and versatile with casual wear. However, they're coming apart after just a few months of wearing them 2-3 times a week. One of the seems on the outside near my smallest toe's knuckle (basically the widest part of the foot) is coming apart. This may be because they're slightly more narrow than most shoes and I have slightly wide feet, but I've never had that happen on a shoe with such light wear. Hopefully it will be a cheap repair! "
