Great Cushioning
" I've been wishing for walking shoes with thick cushioned soles similar to my Fit Flops and thought these might fit the bill. They do and more! I have always had trouble, even with good walking shoes, with the balls of my feet bearing too much impact. These have a very thick sole and because of the angle of the sole, there is little to no impact on that area of my foot. They feel a little strange at first but you get used to it very quickly. My Shape Ups arrived just in time for a trip to Las Vegas and I was anxious to try them out. I did a LOT of walking on that trip and upon arriving home, I realized that many of the muscles in the back of my legs were indeed a little sore. That tells me that in addition to being extremely comfortable, they may very well be giving me a little workout. $100 might seem like a lot for a pair of Sketchers but I think they're worth the money. Not Bad at all!
" I am a big fan of Skechers. When I originally saw this shoe, I was a bit weirded out by the style and look. I'd seen similar shoes from other brands that were horrible looking, but had heard of their benefits for the feet and legs of avid walkers. I tend to do A LOT of walking during the day, and the cross-trainers and walkers I'd had were just not cutting it. My calves would hurt, my ankles would ache, even if they ran a bit wide or long, and with trimmed nails, the tips of my toes would hurt (during a move this past summer, I wore a pair of crosstrainers that normally wore well, and they left my big toe with a huge bruise on my nail bed!). I decided to give these a try. I got them and wore them around the house the first day and was delighted with the rocking motion. At first, you feel like you're going to teeter backwards (or as if the shoe lacks a heel), but once you find your center of balance, you DO feel the muscles in your calves, upper thighs, glutes and abs tightening in response as your core stabilizes. If you work out a lot, you may not notice it; if you don't, you'll either like it or you won't. This may not be for everyone, but if you are on your feet a lot, do lots of walking and need support, etc, then I do recommend it. I am enjoying mine! "

sketcher's shape-ups
" These shoes do as advertised. I felt the burn in my let muscles the very first time I took a short walk down the road with them on. It also does corrects posture and I teel taller and straighter when I were them. Others laugh and say they give me quite the bounce in my walk. "

Walk on!!!!
" These are some of the most comfortable walking shoes I have ever owned. Sketchers fit my foot wonderfully. They are not to narrow or too wide. They always have enough room in the toes and run absolutely true to size. I used to wear a 9 but getting older, you notice your foot grows and being slightly overweight makes it feel wider. Lately I have been buying a size 10 in most shoes but the sketchers have me wearing a 91/2. When measuring my feet with the foot measure, it says 91/2. So Sketchers are spot on. They are padded perfectly for comfort. And this style aids you with the rock motion of walking. I call it the walk n' roll!!!! You'll love it. So Walk-on! "
