These shoes are made for walkin
" These sneakers are very comfortable. I think this is due to the thick sole, which also makes you taller which in turn makes you stand straighter which makes for better posture. I currently do work out and I can feel that different muscles are getting a workout just by walking in these sneakers. I am very happy with my purchase and I have already recommended to friends. "

" Love the Sketchers Shape-Ups. Really has taken the pressure off my knees. I find it easy to walk to and from the bus stop every day and also my daily lunch walks are more comfortable. "

Expensive but well worth the price in comfort!
" That is so true. These are the most comfortable ever.Never paid so much for shoes but well worth the comfort. I walk 10000 steps plus /per day (about 5 miles or more) so I am not sure about the weight loss claims..For those folks who never walk at work or play, these shoes will help them get on their feet and start walking and exercising and have an overall healthy attitude about themselves.I have been telling all my friends and family about these shoes. It's good for hospital workers who stand on their feet or who walk around all day.I wish the retail price that Sketchers established for these shoes would be less. DSW has a good discount on them but not that much variety as of yet. We want more variety DSW in the Shape Ups colors and style. Thanks! Go SHAPE UPS! "

OMG like walking on clouds!
" I have severe rheumatoid arthritis and back problems, I was skeptical whether or not these shoes would help me or not! I don't have the aches and pains that I have suffered with most of my life. I must say it was one of my best purchases for a pair of shoes... Yes, they do help to tone your body, and strengthen your muscles. Love them... "
