Just so-so
" I tried these on in the store in the light color and I thought these would fit my need for "cowboy boots" in my shoe closet. I ordered the brown and when I got them, they just seem so lack luster. Very blah....I got them super cheap, but I think I'm going to have to take these back. I wish Madden would have glammed these up a bit, maybe a colored stitch, something to just spruce these plain jane boots up. They fit well, look a little cheap and run a little big. I usually wear a 9, but go these in 8.5 and they were nice. If you need a very basic cowboy boot, these would fit the bill.....not for me though. "

Cute but not the best
" These are good to wear just a few times. Will need additional padding in the insole. These aren't real cowboy boots but are good for the price. I needed a darker brown pair of boots for an event. I don't see myself wearing then again. "

Nice looking boots
" I have a very narrow foot. This boot is tight on my feet where the foot meets the toes. The boots will defiantly need lots of breaking in. Great buy for the money. "

Extremely comfortable, but not very durable
" By far, one of the most comfortable pairs of boots I have ever purchased. They look great with jeans, and can be worn with almost any outfit. However, my pair fell apart within 2 months of my purchase. First, the rubber heel on the left boot broke, then the fabric on the back of the right foot ripped at the crease. Just general walking caused these shoes to fall apart quickly, but I will never forget how comfy they were. I was even tempted to buy another pair, regardless of their poor quality. "
