Far From Ideal....
" I bought these back in 2009 as a spare pair of slouch boots. They are not suede leather and do not feel anything like it either. They look cute on but they have major flaws. One is that they run very small. Even 8.5 is too small and I wear 7.5 to 8 normally. There's also cardboard inside as the heel cup or whatever that is and it gets crushed when you stick your foot in and you may never get it in so you can walk on crushed cardboard all day. CHEAP. Lastly, they FALL DOWN about my ankles. Now I happen to have legs that are so sturdy that most boots are too narrow so the fact that these cannot stay up really says something! No matter how I wear them they end up crumpled around my ankles in a very unappealing way. I do not recommend at all. "

not good
" I bought these boots for my 18 year old daughter well aware that they were "cheap." But, this was the boot she wanted. She did have a little trouble getting her heel into the boot but I thought they would loosen up and wear in making this easier. The problem is that the inner heel material feels like some kind of cardboard which gets pushed down every time my daughter puts her foot in the boot. This only occurs with one foot! She can't seem to get it to stay up and around her heel as it should. So, she wears them and walks around without her foot all the way in. Not ideal! I would not purchase these again and next time will insist that my daughter chooses a better quality boot. "

can there be too much slouch?
" Yes, I realize these are called Slouch Boot. But they have NO structure in them, so they won't stay up at all. Nothing like the picture, that would be perfect amount of slouch! Very cute, until they slide down. Too loose around the calves, and I'm no stick figure :) Too bad, they are really cute! "
