The pair of shoes everyone needs!
"I recently purchased the Chuck Taylors after years off from them. I last wore my all white ones out in college and this time I decided to go with the classic black. Now that winter is over and I packed away my boots, I needed shoes that would be my go-to casual/weekend shoe. I originally ordered the women's size 7 because of the reviews that they run big, but I had to exchange for the women's size 8 (I usually wear 8, sometimes a 8.5). The 7's were just too tight with socks for comfort. The 8's were definitely roomy but not too big. They are on the wide side, but I think that's what makes them such comfortable walking shoes. I thought the cap toe might pinch/hurt my toes, but it does not. Overall, these are MUCH more comfortable than my previous pair of Converse, which were the Jack Purcell style and much more narrow."

Cool, Casual, Comfortable
"I could not live without these shoes. They're the perfect throwback stylish shoes. Extremely comfy. I have them in different colors. I usually wear a size 9-9 1/2 depending on the shoe, but I had to get a size 8 in these. The 9 seemed too big for me. Not complaining though!"

so cute but not great for walking
"i was so happy to finally get another pair of chucks! i love the way they look, and the size 8 is roomy enough for my 8.5 feet. however, i wore these when i travelled and by the end of the day my toes were sore and the backs of my heels were rubbed raw, even through my socks! these do not stand in for a normal walking sneaker -- i think they're best if you want to look cute and not travel too far on foot!"

"This was not my first pair of Converse, but it was definitely time for new ones. I had been wearing my previous ones for about 6 or 7 years. They are comfortable and they go with lots of things. They are easy to just throw on for a busy day. Even my experience at the store was positive. The woman working this section was helpful and fun; she stopped and talked to my husband and I for quite a while and even helped us when we were looking for shoes for him."
