Doctor Approved Athletic Shoes
" I recently tried this athletic shoe, the New Balance 410, because I was having severe foot pain and numbness and my Podiatrist mandated that I wear nothing but athletic shoes for 3 months as a treatment regimen to alleviate the problem. (The problem being that I was on my feet for hours on end and not wearing supportive shoes). He recommended shoes that would provide stability and motion control. Knowing nothing about athletic shoes, I went to DSW for help. I bought this shoe and since I can't tell the differences from one athletic shoe to another, I showed it to my doctor. He approved the shoe and showed my why. This particular shoe has great heel support and firmness that comes further forward than others. Also, when you walk this shoe bends correctly, more forward where the toes bend, rather than at the middle of the shoe. It also has a sturdy construction. I've found the shoe to be very comfortable and my foot pain has improved greatly in the short amount of time since I started wearing them.
To me, another advantage to this shoe is that it is virtually all white. It's hard to find a good athletic shoe that isn't smeared all over with the manufacturers logo in bright, unattractive colors.
If you spend hours on your feet every day, walking or standing, like I do, and you're looking for a supportive and comfortable shoe I highly recommend the New Balance 410! "
