OMG - LOVE these boots!
" I got them in my size and debated like another reviewer for what seemed like forever (except I was AT the store and getting really weird looks from store staff) on whether I should or shouldn't get them. After trying them on over my ginormous calf (and having them actually FIT), I was sold. I also got them in Cognac in my size (7.5) but have not noticed whether they are bigger. I only know they are super comfy and I actually enjoy wearing them when I have to stand for long periods of time. No overly leathery smell, just a nice soft pliable leather that does not cut into my ankle, as some longer boots usually do on me. If I could get them in all colors, I definitely would! "

Love
" I stared at least shoes online for weeks, couldn't find them at my store and didn't want to deal with possible ordering the wrong size, so I found them at another store.
I love them, absolutely love them. I got them in the conganc (sp?) color. And they passed the hardest test. I got them in chicago and immediately put them on. And then proceeded to walk 10-15 blocks total. And because at times I still get a little turned around, I ended up having to speed walk/run for my train another ten blocks. My feet didn't hurt. The shoes were just as comfortable as when I had first put them on. I've worn them 9 times in the 11 days I have had them.
Bonus, waiting at corners for the light to change I caught a several women staring at my new boots, and a couple compliments.
Okay, I have to agree they run a little big and narrow. About a half-size is my guess. I did notice the leather smell that other reviewers mentioned, it's not horrible but definitely there. Anyways, I love the shoes, if you are on the fence, get them. Get them. "

Feminine comfort
" Great boots! They run half size big so for my size 10 foot I ordered 9.5. Nice heel height, feminine without being too high and painful, also has rubber sole and heel. Slightly narrow but still accommodated my somewhat Fred Flintstonesque foot. "

Very Cute
" I love the style of these boots. They look really cute with jeans. I could have ordered at least a half size smaller easily, but I will be able to wear thick socks, comfortably, with them this winter. The leather odor was quite strong when I first got them. So strong that I left them outside overnight (which didn't help much) and considered sending them back. But the odor has eased up some now. Even though I treated them, and have only had them for a couple of weeks, they're obtaining their "character" already (scuffing). But all in all, I'm glad that I have them. "
