Cute & Comfy (and they do run big)
" I was looking for a brown, flat, comfortable boot that would work with straight or skinny jeans and long sweaters. These are really cute and should be perfect for that purpose. The buckles make it stand out a bit from all the other slouchy flat boots out there now. I have narrow calves and the shaft of these boots are a bit wide on me, even with jeans. I was not sure that they looked OK, but my husband convinced me that they did! :-) The buckles do adjust a notch to make them smaller, but not by much. I normally wear a 7.5-8 and purchased these in 7.5 because I have another pair of White Mountain boots in 7.5. White Mountain generally runs a bit large on me. The 7.5 were a tad bit long lengthwise and a bit wide. The fit is OK with thick socks. I think the 7 would be too short lengthwise. If you look at the pic from above (the pic of the black pair in HD 360), you can see the shape of the foot is a bit widened towards the outside of the foot. It is cute, but it is not a super-sleek profile like other boots. It's a nice casual look however. Like another reviewer, I am disappointed that White Mountain didn't make the box a bit longer to fit the boots without folding them since I store my boots in their boxes. "

Runs really big!
" This is a gorgeous boot, very comfy, but I wear a size 10 normally, and the 9.5 is too big! Now they are out of size 9, boohoo. "

These boots were made for walkin'!
" These were bought as an exchange. LOVE this boot. I got a lot of compliments the first time I wore them & they just keep coming! Looks great with skinny jeans or with a casual sweater dress. The zipper is nice & smooth, doesn't catch anywhere. Fits my wide calfs comfortably. I could walk in these cute boots for miles!! "
