Steve Madden Perpetual Fail
" I tried these on & they fit perfectly. I loved the lace-up structure in the back, both for look and function; I could tell they'd go over skinny jeans if you loosened the lacing. They also looked lovely and adorable over my tights and they were tight enough not to fall down.
I returned them.
Why? Of the 10 or so pairs of Steve Madden shoes I have purchased over the years (I used to be an employee), only 1 pair has not completely fallen apart, usually within a few times of wear. I wasn't willing to take that chance with $130 boots. Should have paid more attention when I was purchasing! (The shoes just said "SM" at the beginning of their title listing and I didn't put it together because I was shopping at work like the delinquent I am.) "

" I love the look of these boots. They are comfortable to wear all day and I am on my feet a lot. However I have been disappointed with how they have worn as I have had them longer. The suede at the back of the heel frayed and came away from the base within weeks of getting them. The ties up the back are very worn and I'm worried they will snap off all together. It's disappointing because I like them a lot. I still wear them but I would have expected more from this brand and for this price. "

Gorgeous!
" These boots are so gorgeous. Perfect length, and great to wear with jeans, skinny pants, or even a dress. Very couture like with the rugged tie in the back. "
