Good basic riding boot
" This boot is a decent purchase for the price - the heel is thick enough to provide cushioning when walking, the toe is roomy enough to wear thick socks with without appearing overly wide, and the upper is real leather. However, the leather is thin and it will stain white socks for the first few wears. I have a narrow calf, but these boots fit with enough room for me to fit a few fingers in between the largest part of my calf and the boot cuff, which means plenty of room to wear with jeans tucked inside. I'd recommend wearing taller socks with these because the heel fits snugly on my foot and caused my ankle socks to roll down. All in all, a comfortable boot without any frills; a little expensive given the quality, which is solid but not stellar. "

" Not what i expected, the leather was fairly thin and kind of cheap feeling also not much cushion on the soles. The calf part was also a little too loose for my calves. "

" The shoes looks wonderful and I was really looking forward to wearing them. Unfortunately, what does not show in the photo is that the upper part of the boots is actually soft and runs a bit narrow. That's really too bad. I would have had a love affair with these otherwise! "
