Love these
" I've got big feet and scrawny calves, so lots of flat boots look really, really terrible on me. In fact, I tried on about every pair in the store yesterday before finding these in black. It was love at first sight. I just wore them all day and wow...cozy and wonderful and nice. The leather on the shaft is nice and a little thinner (as opposed to thick and stiff), so they scrunch just the tiniest amount onto your foot. They look great on my ski-feet!!! I'll go back for the brown. "

" Not impressed, the boots look cheap! The poor quality of the leather reminds me of the $40 FUX Leather boots sold at Target. When it arrived it had a very visible scuff on it. The upside is that they are very comfortable, and run true to size. The downside is the buckle on the left foot flaps and makes an incredible annoying sound every time I take a step. Not even the nice fit save the boots; the quality is so bad that I will have to return them. I don’t recommend these boots! "

Still loving these, 2 years later
" I bought these from DSW 2 years ago and still love them! I wear them all the time and everywhere. I've travelled all over the US and even to China with them. They still look great and have always been comfortable, even when walking miles! They seemed to run a bit narrower in the calf than other boots, which is perfect for me, but others may want to take note of this. Oh, and to top it all off, my manager saw me wearing them last week and then went to DSW to buy them for his wife ;) "
