look cheap,poor quality
" I was excited to get these boots, but as soon as I opened the box I was very disapointed. They are real leather, extremely poor quality leather, but leather. The style is exactly what I was looking for and they seemed comfortable, but I could not get over the paper thin and flat brown leather, it looks like pleather! I could get the same look at target or payless for a lot cheaper, if I wanted a cheap looking boot. "

I want to keep it but...
" I was disappointed when I saw the boots. It does not look like what it shows online. The leather looks cheap and the color looks lighter than the picture. It was uncomfortable to wear the boots.It feels like walking on hard wood shoes. I have other boots which are way more comfortable. My feet are wide so it's too narrow for me. True to its size, perfect length. I have narrow calves(12 and a half) so the calf size is the narrowest pair that I saw online so far. I will have to return them and keep looking for the right one. "

Cute
" I have been looking for black riding boots for some time. These boots are very comfortable but the leather looks a bit cheap. I feel they are a bit chunky - more like motorcycle style riding boots than equestrian style riding boots. I haven't decided if I will keep them or not. I do like that you can adjust the buckle to make them feel more snug on the foot. "

Cheapy feeling leather
" I really wanted to love these boots but I ended up returning them because the leather was extremely thin and cheap feeling. There are much better quality boots out there for the price... I would never pay more than $50 for the type of quality this boot offers. "
