Good deal
" Not my favorite boots in the world, but worth it for the price. I felt that the boots ran a little short, but my height could be a factor there. The exterior of the boot looks nice and I'm looking forward to protecting the leather for the winter. Very comfy--no discomfort while "breaking in" this weekend. "

Love these boots
" The boots are fantastic! I have only worn them once, but I can't wait to wear them again. My only wish is that they were an inch or two higher in the shaft, taking them to the knee. They are a bit short, ending maybe 2-3 inchies below the knee. However, they totally work. They are comfortable, with zero break-in time. The foot of the boot is a bit stiff, but loosens quickly. Many here have commented on the shaft, which is unlined and sort of relaxed. Funny thing is, that is the one thing that I got the most compliments on. Everyone kept saying 'they look so soft!'. I have an extremely narrow calf and ankle, making it hard to find a boot that fits with little gap to my leg, and I found that these boots fit me perfectly, well less than an inch gap at the calf while wearing a fantastic pair of skinny jeans. So if you have a wider calf, beware, even with the ability to let out the buckle at the calf edge. I did have to draw the ankle buckle in one notch, but the beauty of this boot is that you have the option to do that, most buckles are for decoration only, the buckles on these boots are functional. I love the brown color of the boots, not too light, not too dark, so they blend with both chocolate and khaki colors. I ordered an 8 1/2 online in order to take advantage of a thousand coupons and net deals that I had, and got the boots for under $40. However, I wear an 8. When I went to my local DSW, they were out of the 8's, but I tried a 7.5 and it was perfect. I wore them for many hours, and they were an absolutely perfect fit, so I feel that these boots run SLIGHTLY large. The 7.5 was almost too perfect, worked with thin socks, but super thick socks most definitely wouldn't work. So proceed with caution on these, it all depends on how you want to wear them. Awesome...perfect for skinny calves
" I have looked all over for some riding boots that would fit my skinny calves. I probably tried on 50 pairs of boots. I saw these on line and they looked like the measured smaller around the calves. I took a chance--bought them and they are perfect. I plan on wearing with skinny jeans and even tights and they will be great. I am not sure you could tuck in thicker pants or bootcut jeans. "

Finally found the boots I was looking for!
" LOVE these boots! I have been searching for flat black boots for the last year or so. Everything just wasn't cutting it. But these are great! They are SUPER comfy. I usually go between either a 7.5 or 8 and I had to return the 8 for the 7.5. The 8 was perfect width but way too long so my feet were sliding around a bit. The 7.5 is a little narrower than I'd like (and I have narrow feet) but they fit much better. I love the style of these boots. They are very nicely made (real leather!) and the style is like a motorcycle boot but they can be girlied up. I'm stoked! "
