Nice casual boot, good value
" A coworker had these boots in brown and I thought they were really cute so got them in black. I tried my usual size 9 in brown at the store and it had lots of extra room in the foot. Was on the fence for a while and by the time I decided to buy them they were out of black in size 9 but I often have to get a half size smaller in boots so so bought the 8 1/2. They are a little tight across the widest part of my foot, and somewhat hard to get on as they are un-lined, but I wore them with thin socks for a full day without any major discomfort. They seemed to soften and stretch as they warmed up on my foot.
I decided to keep them as they are so cute with jeans, and have worn them with a skirt as well. I have an "athletic" calf of about 15", so have had trouble finding tall boots that fit over my calves. The boots are pretty snug (but no bulge) at the top, so the shaft is not 12" as advertised, but that's great for me. I did let the top buckle out all the way.
I also agree that the leather on the shaft is thin and of lower quality than on the foot, but I think some black polish would improve the finish. Overall a great boot for the price. "

good boot
" These boots are quite comfortable and have a nice color. I think I would have been disapointed in the overall quality if I had paid the "compare at" or even the DSW full price. The leather is cheaper than I would have expected from boots at this price point. "

" I love these boots. They are very comfortable and look so well with some skinny jeans. I usually wear a 9 but had to get these in a 8 1/2. They also have the buckles on the side that allows then to be a little snugger when needed. "

ok boots
" True to size but loose around ankle and calf. They are not lined and the leather is on the thin side.I decided to keep them to wear in early spring and they do fit over jeans comfortably. "
