wide calf and low quality
" i was so excited as these were supposed to be a 12" circ. calf but my calves were swimming (and my calves are 12.5"). As the other reviewer stated, they really do look and feel like fake leather....very cheap. Sigh...oh well. "

On the fence...
" I really wanted to love these... but when they arrived, the first thing I noticed was the quality of the leather. From the photo, this looked like really nice, sturdy, quality leather. In person, it's a bit flimsy and to be honest, looks fake (even though it's clearly genuine leather -- they are unlined so you can see that it's real). The upside: the style is very cute and they provide a nice fit that you can tuck your jeans into. I might have kept them and dealt with the quality issue, but they were too large (I'm between a 7 and 7.5 and would have needed the 7 in this boot). "

REALLY disappointed
" I ordered these boots because the website said they have a 12" calf circumference and my legs are quite thin. I was really excited to have finally found a pair of flat brown boots that I wouldnt be swimming in! But then, when the boots got to my home, they aren't 12" at all - they're 14"! Buyer beware - if you're interested in these for thin legs, they are not what the description says they are. "
