too wide for my calf
" Ordered this boot in brown. The top of the ankle - foot was at an odd angle especially since the heel is not very high.
The tie & ring at the ankle is cute & has a nice fit but....sadly I have to complain about the calf width. I have an average / slim calf & this boot was too wide. FYI, at its widest point my calf is 13-1/2" a round. I realize the description states 14-15" circumference and I like to wear boots w/ socks; but you never know how the boot will look until you see it on. The boot is not as tapered as the picture looks. It just looked like a very flared boot on me. On the up side, the return process at my local DSW was very easy. "

" I was really excited about these boots, but when I tried them on they went up unexpectedly high. I'm 5'3" and they went halfway over my knees. From the picture they looked like they would be just below the knee, so I was disappointed! Maybe not the right boot for shorter ladies. But if that's not a problem, I thought they were very comfortable and loved the low heel. "

Comfy and Cozy Boots
" Love these boots... Can't wait to wear them when I tour Europe in the fall. The calf is roomy enough to wear over jeans. And the heel is the perfect height. "
