Boot a little too wide at calf
" These are great boots but the picture depicts the boot shaft to be a bit more narrow than it actually is. It says 14 1/2" but really looks to be 15"+. They don't stand straight and I can see a "slouching" factor being an issue after wearing them a while. The ankle is also a bit too chunky, there is no taper where the 2 straps are, so they aren't as flattering to the leg as they could be. They are comfortable but I think I might return them to get a different style and one that tapers more overall. "

love them.
" well, today was the first day i wore these boots to work. i'm not even sure how many compliments i got within the first hour of work - at one point my coworker said to another "dont you want to beat her up and steal her boots?" haha. but seriously, i've been looking for a great comfortable pair of boots - and these have it all. love the heel, love the detail, love them in general. very happy with this purchase. "

" I love these shoes! I am usually a 7 but I ordered a 7.5 based on the other reviews (they are quite difficult to get off). They fit fantastic and are soo comfortable. They do bunch behind the knees but it is not painful and if you think about how some other shoes can be torturous the bunching is easily ignored. I was really hesitant to get them as I am 5’2’’ and many of the reviews said they’d look better on taller people. I disagree they are cute no matter what! I hope I can get them in grey flannel as well. Love these boots! Great with skinny jeans and great with dresses. Great! "

not for beginners
" The moment I saw these I had to have them. The shaft is all the way up to the knee, which I wasn't expecting, but actually is great, and SEXY! These boots have a unique look which forces you to be a little more creative with what you wear with them. They don't have the same look nor will they go with the same outfits as the tall flat boots I know you all have.
If you're looking for a new boot that has a different look and feel than all your flat tall boots, then these are perfect. But if you're looking for a good "everyday" tall boot, than I would go with something else. "
