If only they came bigger.
" I could only get one of these boots on. Between my high instep and the excess lining material on the seam inside the boot i just couldn't get my foot in all the way. The one i did get on was way hot looking!!! Not comfy though and short. I could feel the boot on the tops of my toes. I usually find size 11 a touch large, these were at least 1/2 small to me. I'd say go up a full size. They fit just fine in the leg, i have 16" calf and a 35" inseam. They came about 2" above my knee which is awesome and rare when you're 6'0" tall. The pair I got also had a bunch of ripples in the footbed, hopefully it's a rare defect. They smelt more like rubber cement and suede to me, not mothballs. "

Amazing value!
" I actually loved these boots so much - although I must admit the heel is a little too high for me (I prefer heels that are 4" and lower for maneuverability). If you're on the petite size, these boots could possibly pass as thigh-high boots which are so difficult to find in stores unless you're willing to shell out $600+ on Stuart Weitzman or Giuseppe Zanotti's. The only other downside is that the suede smells like mothballs, so if I were you, I'd try to air them out a bit before wearing them. "

Sadness!
" I ordered these shoes for my birthday and, besides the complete disaster with FedEx and getting them 5 days late, they were a complete disappointment. They were HUGE! Not just the shoe part - although my foot slid around in there like it was a size 10! - but the boot shaft was massive, too. I mean, I put them on over jeans and they were STILL huge! They are suede so I understand the need to make them larger to they fit everyone, but the entire boot was unrealistically massive. Also, the COLOR is not at all what it looks like online - see how dark that grey is? Almost black? Yeah, in reality it is a very light grey. Like, REALLY light. So add how large they are to the lightness of the color and they are just not flattering boots AT ALL. I am sad to say that I can't imagine them looking good on just about anyone. "
