Call me maybe
" Would I recommend this to a friend? Maybe, it depends on the friend. I liked the way it looks but even with the lace up, my instep was too high and it cut across the top of my foot cutting into the flesh where the seams hit. If you have flat feet, this may be perfect for you, but if you are my daughter considering buying this - don't. (She inherited my instep.)

Bad News
" I LOVED the way these look, however, fit was a bit of a problem. I have a very high instep and the location of the zipper cut into the top of my foot, leaving marks after only a few minutes. I decided to order the wide width. They were out of my size, so I also had to order 1/2 size larger. I kept the first pair until the second pair came in for comparison. THEY WERE EXACTLY THE SAME.I couldn't feel any difference at all. Though labeled differently, putting the two different sized shoes toe to heal they were identical - no wider, no longer! Somebody screwed up. I haven't decided if I should try again, or just try to stretch them out.

velcro nightmare
" This shoe is cute and comfortable - the problem is the closure. In order to close the strap in the most secure location (wrap it all the way around to my heel) I have to make it so tight as too leave indentions in my ankle. If I don't, the strap comes loose while I am walking. It really Needs a buckle.

" This is a fairly comfortable boot that looks nice with "tea length" skirts. Good for a casual and/or western type look without the real cowboy boots - but wouldn't wear them all day.

all day boots
" The very first time I wore these boots was when I took my grandson to see Christmas @ Sea World. Normally, it is not a good place to be wearing new shoes - LOTS of walking. These Bear Traps were very comfortable and kept my feet dry when getting splashed by Shamu. My feet lasted longer than the grandkid, lol.
