Not well made
" I had read reviews about this boot before I purchased them. But like so many folks- I believed that the person's negative experience with the boot slouching was not relevant to me. Boy, was I wrong. Slouching is an understatement. The boots do not stay in place and after 5 minutes of wear, they slide down the leg and become slouched ankle boots. Because they are not tight- they present a very bad look as a slouchy ankle boot because they sit wide at the top and flap. The sad thing is that this slouch only happened with the left boot. So you can imagine your walking with one boot that semi stays put and one that drops to the ankle. My legs are pretty even in size- so the size of my legs is not an issue. It's just the boots are poorly constructed . The leather is extremely thin and the boots are not lined. So, if you wear white socks with your boots , expect them to discolor. I would advise anyone not to purchase this item. I bought two pair and returned one. - I really tried to make the product work because the brown boots are a very nice color. But, after 2 weeks of wearing I gave up and the boots not worn get returned and the ones I have worn get put to rest. Lesson learned--reviews are valid! "

unhappy
" unfortunately, I really wanted to love these shoes, but I can't wear them because the leather on each shoes was treated differently.
So one slips completely down my leg, while the other one stands up straighter. They look ridiculous and I will never wear them.
I wish they were treated the same way so that both boots came up to the same height on my legs. Just awful. "

Awesome boots...if they were just a bit smaller
" I love these boots.. They look great on, they are super sexy, but they 6 1/2 was about a size too big. I wish I had gotten a smaller size. Besides that I love them. THey look great over tights and with skinny jeans... "

LOVE the BOOT but boot but not accurate descript
" I LOVED this boot when I saw it on here. I received it and took both the black and copper out of box bc I always trust DSW. The boot was at least a size tooo big. A 6.5 felt like an 8. The leather is gorgeous but too soft and these do not stand back at all. I do not recommend this boot nor brand. EXPENSIVE and not made properly. I made the mistake of tossing my receipt and I would return them in a second! "
