" I understand what the other reviewers say--yes this is thin leather that won't stand up straight. Although the boot does slouch, to me it is not bad. It still comes up slightly above my knee. And, because the leather is thin, you are able to achieve the other advertised looks. I think the folded down cuff looks pretty well, as does the slouching it down even more to make it a mid-calf boot. I also cuffed it and pressed it down all the way, as the last look shows, but wasn't too in love with this look.
Definitely go down a half size (if not a whole). I usually wear a 9, and got an 8 1/2. I was nervous about going down, because sometimes 9s are too tight for me, but with this boot I think I could have even gotten an 8 and there wouldn't have been a problem.
The only things I don't like about this boot is that the ankles are a bit big and baggy, and that the brown is a little more red than I would like. Besides that, I think they are great.
Anyway, if you're looking for a tall boot, with no slouch, this definitely isn't it. However, if you like a bit of slouch, this boot is good I think. "

Not happy
" Not happy at all! I wanted a stylish pair or real leather boots. These are NOT them. The leather is very thin. They are too big and sloppy looking. They won’t even stay up even with jeans on. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!! "

Beautiful boot but not what I expected.
" I purchased these boots hoping that they were exactly what I was looking for. They were nothing like I expected. They do come a little over the knee and I am 5'5. But the leather is very light and thin so there is no way they would stay up more than 5 minutes max. The leather is very soft and supple but for me these did not cut it. Fit wise was true to size with a little room for socks. Would not recommend unless you like a scrunchy boot, because that is what they will become. "
