Great riding Boots
" I LOVE these boots. I got the dark brown, They come up to about 3 inches below my knee they are more loose around the leg. I think I would have preferred them to be more tight but I like that they are loose too because it makes my leg look skinnier. I think I would have preferred for them to have more detail on them but simple is good because they go with just about everything. They are not made with the best of quality material. When I received them, the elastic on the top, in one of the slits had ripped but it wasn't noticeable and I didn't want to wait for them to be exchanged through the mail so I decided to keep them. They have a decent 1- 1.25 inch heel on them but are so comfortable. My feet do not hurt at all after wearing them to all my classes throughout the day and walking to and from campus. They are great in the snow, are very warm, and have decent traction on the ice. I waterproof sprayed them and they haven't even soaked up any water. When I walk in them it sounds as if I am wearing a legitimate high heel. They clack a little loud on hard surface flooring and pavement. Looking for something simple,comfortable and warm? These are definitely the boots for you "

" I was lookign for a pair of black riding style boots and when i saw these onlien on clearance I thought they'd be perfect. As soon as I opened the box I knew they'd be going back. they we so cheap looking and when i put them on the just looked awful. I'd say my calves are average size and these wer huge in the calf. i cannot imagien payign full prcie for these as they were so cheap looking. "

" I do love the look of these boots, but the calves are just much too wide. Even with jeans tucked in, they were too baggy. Maybe if you try sizing down, these would work. I'm sad to return them :( "

Too wide of a shaft
" These boots would be perfect if i had wide calves. Everything else about them was just right. They are not leather, but they have a nice "non-leather" quality. Even the sole was slightly rubberized and not "slick".
They are pull on and the size was just right. If you are thin, these boots would probably not do your legs justice. I'm disappointed that I must return them. "
