Good in so many ways--except one
" So, overall this shoe is a good buy, and I mostly like it. It has a very artistic look, it does seem to go with almost anything, and once you get your foot into it the elastic really grips your feet well. Definitely worth the price.
However: you may have read that it tends to rub the foot in uncomfortable ways. Well I can tell you that it WILL take your skin off, in several places, the first few times you wear them. Like many people, my commute involves a fair amount of walking. I wore them to work and had walked LESS than one mile and there were five extremely painful blisters on both sides of my feet, on both feet. This is due to the odd design of the shoe, which has several sharp-edged "tabs" that the elastic straps are sewn to. The edges of these WILL dig into your feet, and hurt them. So if you have to do any walking AT ALL in these shoes, I strongly recommend you bring an ample supply of band aids.
Also, the smell is very strange. Tidy Bowl comes to mind. Still, it's not altogether unpleasant, definitely not as strong as some people have implied, and in my opinion is better than the smell of stinky feet. "

" When I opened the box, the smell in the box was amazing. Totally loved it. Wore the sandals to dinner that evening. They were really comforable and super cute. "

Cute, but not for me
" These shoes were very strange. I got them in the pink and loved the color, but when I put them on, I hated how they looked on my feet. And the scented thing was a little weird, though my four-year-old thought it was the greatest! LOL!
Overall, they were cute, but not for me. "
