Love these!
" Originally looking for riding boots, I came across these great boots. They are a great casual boot that can be dressed up a bit. And did I mention how comfortable they are? The first time I wore them was for over 4 hours continuously (and standing/walking around the entire time) and they didn't even need to be broken in! I'll definitely be wearing them often during the fall/winter seasons. I totally recommend these :) "

Comfortable but not water resistant
" This boot runs a bit tight in the foot area. I am usually a size 8, but I purchased an 8 1/2, so I could wear a thicker sock. I am 125 pounds & 5 foot 6 inches, with a narrow foot. I love the inside cushioning (like walking on a cloud), and the very low heel is easy on my back/spinal area. Very comfortable style, if you walk a bit.The very 1st day I wore these boots, I walked about 30 minutes - to my job. During my lunch break, it rained a bit - a very light sprinkle. Unfortunately, the boots absorbed the rain like a sponge (in the front toes area). My toes/socks & boots were wet withing 5 minutes, just walking down a sidewalk - with no puddles involved. Perhaps the stitching holding the top leather to the bottom rubber sole area is not sufficient. I dried the boots, near my steam heat radiator at home, and I hope to wear them when it is not raining. I have other leather boots that are not waterproof, and I can wear them in a light sprinkle/snow fall without any water seepage. I also had some skin near my heel rubbed away - and it almost blistered, as the area had friction from my walking. I have a wooden shoe stretcher in that boot now & hope it helps. I would have given it a 5 rating, if it had not leaked so easily. "
