space boots!
" i will admit that i got these off the clearance rack, also had 2 coupons totalling $15 off, and so got these for a complete steal. i am not the kind of girl who would necessarily end up with a pair of pewter high-heeled platform booties otherwise. they are so fun, though. my young daughters and i decided that they came from the future.
with the platform, they don't feel high at all. i did a lot of walking in mine the first day i wore them, and the only thing that got uncomfortable at all was the balls of my feet (skinnier/younger girls might not have an issue here at all). like one other reviewer, i have high insteps so the right boot is a bit hard to slip on, but once it is on, it's totally comfortable.
i like the look of them peeking out from under long flared jeans, but if you really want the detail to show, they'd be great with leggings or a skirt. "
