Very unique and comfortable
" These are not real leather, but they are really high quality synthetic - I am not usually a fan of synthetic but they actually look and feel like pretty high-end shoes and the stacked heel is really on trend. The color is much closer to a light/taupe brown than a grey with intentional darkening around the toe area. The heel is a very comfortable height with a hidden platform, they feel like 3", tops. The look is kind of a cross between a traditional dutch clog and an ankle bootie, and I think it works. Unfortunately, these run BIG. I am usually an 8, with a slightly wider foot. The 8 in these was falling off the back of my heels, and even with my wider foot was sort of wide around the middle of my arch. I'm not sure if a 7.5 would have fit me better, even with socks on the 8 was slipping off easily. If you have a narrow foot, you will need to size down for sure... I'd try them though, they are worth a shot for this price and free shipping! "

Grey-Ish, but still neutral
" Strictly speaking, these shoes aren't grey, alternatively, they ARE a lovely distressed taupe. This still makes them a great pair of shoes. Also, the description is not correct, The shoes are not synthetic, rather they are leather uppers. If that bothers you, you might want to take that into consideration. As for me? I prefer a leather shoe, they wear better and tend to fit a bit better. Although the color is correct on the website, please understand it's not grey. They are comfortable on first wearing and cute, cute cute! They still make a wonderful fall neutral shoe if you're a bit tired of so many peep-toe shoes! "
