" Shortly before I was to leave for an international tour I broke a bone in one of my feet. After wearing an orthopedic shoe for a week my doctor said I could transfer to a shoe with good support, which I also would be able to wear on my tour. I tried on several pairs of shoes at DSW & this Keds shoe won with flying colors. The shoe was comfortable when I tried it on & has remained so--which isn't always the case. I purchased a black pair & a brown pair. On my tour I walked over rough & hilly terraine & the shoe never felt uncomfortable--except when, at the end of each day, my foot with the broken bone REALLY was swollen. What did I do? I unzipped this wonderful Keds shoe to allow more room for my swollen foot! Since returning home, I have worn this shoe almost every day, one color or the other, & neither shows much wear--even after having walked on them over hill & dell. I just ordered two more pairs in each color in case they go out of stock. Thank you Keds! And thank you DSW! "
