Cheap - makes weird sound when walking
" I'm wondering if all these good reviews are staged. Although at first glance these boots look cute on, upon wearing them and moving around, it's obvious that they are made with VERY cheap materials. I could have sworn that some of the paper stuffing was still in the boot because when I was walking around, the fake leather sounded like paper being crumpled. Granted these boots are affordable but at an affordable price, I would like to get a product that is still worth my hard earned money. Unfortunately, these will be returned. And the hunt for the perfect boot continues... "

Awesome boots!
" I love these boots! I have had them for over a year now and they look great! No sign of wearing and they are comfortable to walk in. I wear a 7.5 and they fit true to size. I love the worn look of these boots. You can wear them with jeans, dresses, skirts...They are very versatile! Great purchase for a great price! "

Love the weathered look!
" I ordered these in brown and I absolutely love the worn, weathered look. I also love that the shaft is narrow enough to wear these under boot-cut jeans or pants without getting "boot muffin-top" like you do when you try to wear most boots under pants. Lastly, I love how the "ruching" detail on the top of the foot-part of the boot provides eye candy when you wear them under pants. As for wearing them *over* skinny jeans or leggings, I will do it, BUT, they are an awkward height. They are described as mid-calf, which I interpreted to mean the middle of the (bulge of my) calf muscle. In reality, they are mid-lower-leg, which for me means they only come up to the *bottom* of the bulge of my calf muscle. It looks a bit awkward with tights or leggings; less so with skinny jeans. Still, I'm very happy with my purchase, mainly for how they look when I wear them under pants. As for comfort... I frequently have to purchase shoes in "wide" to accommodate my bunions, so I was worried that these might be too narrow for my feet. I was happily surprised that they provide ample space around my bunions and even have enough room to put in a Dr. Scholl's orthotic footbed, all of this without looking wide or bulky from the outside. basic and good
" After having too much guilt buying $150+ leather boots, I decided to find some inexpensive, faux-leather boots just for going out (not everyday work or walking around a lot). These fit the bill perfectly. No obnoxious buckles or silly adornment, good shape, but not too boring. It is pretty obvious to me that they aren't real leather, but the quality is decent. I don't think they would be good for snow or very cold places though. I am going to add a slim insole for more cushioning once they loosen up a little. Not uncomfortable though. "
