Amazingly - They love 'em
" My two teenagers are so picky & they love these shoes! They may not be the most attractive shoe, but they make up for it in comfort. They offer great support of his arch without being constricting on the top of the foot. "

Walking at it's best!
" I always have heard great things about this shoes and decided to give it a go. Skeptical at first that they would be comfortable I didn't let my psychological thoughts get the best of me. Wearing them the first day last week and they were perfect! Stuck on my toe socks and bought the pooch for a walk...2.5 miles to be exact. When I got home and took them off you would never had known I went for a walk! With socks or without socks they are just as comfortable. Check them out! "

I like the arch support, but that's about it.
" I like the arch support. That's one of the reasons I bought them in the first place.
They are not waterproof or even water-resistant. Not even close. If I step in something damp (small puddle on the sidewalk or alley), I can feel the water seeping through the soles. I haven't inspected them closely, but I think there are cracks in the bottom of the sole. Since they're practically new, I didn't expect that at all. Deep puddles are a no-no. You'd completly soak the neoprene and that's just a bad idea.
Second problem: they are not breathable enough. So if your feet get damp because of rainy weather OR your feet get warm and perspiration happens (it does), your feet are wet. They don't really dry out. The neoprene just holds the moisture in (no wicking action to speak of). You could wear plastic socks and it would feel about the same. If you have naturally sweaty feet, I can't imagine how bad it would be. I'm not naturally sweaty, and my feet are damp after a few hours.
They make my feet hot. Probably because they don't breathe. But they do not keep my feet warm if it's cold. If there is dampness, expect clammy feet.
If it's dry and not too warm where you live, maybe they'd be good for you. But they're not very practical for the extreme temperature swings that happen in Chicago. I just don't think they're worth the trouble. "

Strangely Awesome
" I bought these strictly from external influence. I see people in them all over the city and thought they would be cool. They are great for walking and just fun to wear. Everyone else thinks they are the plague of footwear, but you can't judge a shoe until you try it on. "
