great shoe
"I needed a good running shoe and a friend told me about these. I love them. They are comfortable and fit perfectly, true to size. I love the colors, the blue is a deep periwinkle color. I would definitely buy this shoe again."

"Shoes are lightweight, true to size, fit great and are very comfortable. Wore them all day walking around the State Fair and feet felt fine! Color not exactly as I expected from picture...more greyish, but still look fine."

So comfy
"These shoes are SO comfy! I absolutely hate running on treadmills, especially since I had a stress fracture in my foot last year. I usually need a softer ground (trail) to run on, but with these shoes, running on a treadmill felt like I was running on clouds. Perfect amount of cushion and support."

A great sneaker
"Very satisfied with Asics. The shoe is very comfortable and the gel absorbs a lot of the shock when you walk/run. The only thing is that it seems slightly narrow. It feels a bit more tight on my left foot than my right."

Pump Girl in Running Shoes
"I'm typically not a athletic shoe girl...my idea of exercise is yoga and we go barefoot. However, my doctor recommended I start walking for at least 1/2 hour a day, because I have osteopenia (the beginning of osteoporosis). I needed a comfortable shoe. I read the other reviews on the DSW site and liked the price, so I decided to try the Kahana 5 Trail. I am very pleased with the fit and look. The colors don't clash with my other clothing. The GEL makes the shoe very comfortable. I will definitely replace these when the time comes with another pair of ASICS."

awesome everyday shoe
"This is my 7th pair of Gel-Kahana Asics in as many years. I wear them 3-7 days a week, often all day long. They feel wonderful, and I hope Asics keeps cranking them out every year and that DSW keeps selling them for a decent price."

"The thing I really like about these shoes is they feel very supportive on the side-to-side motion. I'd expect that from a trail shoe, but these are far less bulky looking than your average trail shoe. They look more like a regular running shoe and they fit a narrow foot well, which is what I need."
