Glad I bought this boot
" I normally can't wear boots because they don't fit over my calf. Just for fun one time, I tried on boots that were 2 sizes too big but they fit my calf. Anyway, this boot fit my calf and are roomy enough that I will be able to wear something heavier than hose. The heel is just right, the color is just right and the fit is just right. I am so glad I found these. They tend to be a bit bigger and wider than usual but just a bit. 1/2 size smaller would not work. I wear a 6. "

Thumbs up!
" Another great Madden Girl purchase from DSW! I usually wear a Madden Girl 6.5 but since DSW ran out of my size, I had to order a 7. It is a little long...but if I were to order my exact size, I think it might be a little narrow for my wide feet. That being said, I LOVE this boot! Very comfy, as with most of Steve Madden/Madden Girl shoes. The brown color is a little bit darker in person than the picture. And my favorite part about Madden Girl Preppie: it fits my wider calves!!! Yayyyy! "

They're OK.
" I'm surprised that everyone's review has given this boot stellar ratings. Here's my $0.02:
- The boot is very, very cute and very versatile.
- It's comfy and fits perfectly.
- They're sturdy and will last long.
The one thing though is the material. They're 100% genuinely FAKE leather, which means they will stink and suffocate your feet like there is no tomorrow. Put another way, you'll be sticking your feet into literally synthetic foot coffins. So for what it's worth, maybe you're better off just buying a more expensive pair of REAL leather boots for a couple more bucks. I'd say it's worth it. If it weren't for the fact that my bf LOVES these boots (they have a 2" heel), I'd go for a different pair of real leather boots, even if they don't have the cute heel. "

All the Style, Half the Price
" I love these boots! As a woman that resists the "Pretty Woman" look of pointy toes and over the knee, overly shiny boots, it is definite that these were worth every dollar!! They work with everything, are as comfy as flats, and cost half as much as some of their counterparts. "
