Love them
" I bought these boots in brown and love them so much that I am back ordering them again in black. I needed black riding boots and why buy a different pair when I know that I like these so much. The leather is good quality, the shoe is reasonably comfortable and they are so cute. The calf opening is wide enough that I can wear them with straight leg jeans, not just skinny jeans. This is a huge bonus. I also have skinny calf muscles and I was afraid that they would be too wide but they are not. A friend with larger calf muscles tried them on and they fit her nicely as well. "

Wanted to like these...
" Online they look great, but in person they look cheap. Much shinier than in the pictures. The fit is very bulky, the ankles bulge and it looks like the boots don't fit properly when I walk. I was hoping these would be a great riding boot to wear over jeans but sadly will be returning them. "

Cute boots, much too wide for thin calves
" Although these boots were cute and clearly good quality, they are quite wide if you have thin legs. My calves are about 12in in circumference at their widest, and these boots did not fit at all.
Also, they were tight on my heel, and I could tell that if I walked a great deal I would develop blisters. However, I also have thin, bony, feet to go with the thin legs, so this may not apply to everyone.
I ordered a 7.5. I usually wear between a 7 and 7.5, and these fit length-wise perfectly. I say this because I typically wear thick socks with boots, and since these rubbed against my heals, I would definitely have to wear thick socks. Unfortunately, I returned the boots. I highly recommend these to those who have larger calves as they are good quality and cute. It's important to note that most boots don't fit me well, so this isn't unusual. "

Wide Shaft - Undecided
" I got these boots in brown, and I like them, but there are a few issues and I'm still undecided if I will keep them. Love the color, but the toe is darker than the rest of the boot, it doesn't really bother me but I wish it had uniform coloring. The shaft is really wide, I have skinny ankles, and I could probably fit two of my ankles into that part of the shaft. However, boots can be like that and it's not a deal breaker. The height of the shaft is a little awkward, it should either be a little taller, or a little shorter. All in all, they are a great looking boot, but I think it will depend on your legs as to if they will look good. I want to keep them, but I'm thinking I should search for a boot that fits me better. "
