REAL LEATHER!!!!
" I love these boots. I bought them in brown and I am going to buy them in black. The first day I had them I could smell the real leather. I have huge calves and they just fit around my calves with jeans tucked in! Because they are real leather they will stretch a little. I like the fact that I can scrunch them down a bit or wear them pulled up. I also like that the toe is a little more rounded. I wear a size 10 and don't feel like these boots make my feet look gigantic like some riding boots. If you want a nice, classic pair of boots I would give them a shot! "

" I saw this boot in person and fell in love with it instantly. The quality of the material appeared somewhat $$ than what it was selling for. When I tried it on, I was EXTREMELY disappointed. The shaft (from calf to ankle) was extremely large/wide, giving the boot a baggy effect when I put it on.. It felt like I was wearing rainboots not riding boots. "

if you're on the fence, don't buy
" After a bunch of mixed reviews, I decided to give these boots a try because I absolutely loved the way they looked and was hoping that I would get lucky and the negative reviews wouldn't apply to me. I was wrong. I wanted to love these boots, but I just couldn't. True to many reviews, they were just too baggy around the ankle and the calf (and I have fairly large, muscular calves). They were so big that I actually felt like I was wearing rain boots. As someone who was on the fence and decided to take the risk, I recommend that if you are reading reviews and aren't sure, just save yourself the time and money and order a different pair of boots. These just won't live up to your expectations. "
