" These boots are beautiful, but its extremely important that you wear good thick socks and break them in before trying to wear them all day. The second time I wore them they were perfect. But that first day I payed my weight in blisters. I was so excited to wear them I forgot the #1 rule of boots, "break these babies in before you need to wear them all day" "

My latest & greatest obsession
" I was on the hunt for dark brown riding boots a few months ago and fell in love with these boots, but was TOTALLY bummed when they didn't have my size in the dark brown. Fast forward to yesterday, when I chanced upon these babies in the clearance section of my local DSW!!!! In my size!!!!! I could have died and gone to heaven right then and there.
I usually wear an 8.5 to 9, but I got these in an 8 and they fit perfectly. I definitely won't be able to wear thick socks with them, but they are super comfortable. I am 5'3" with athletic calves and a pretty high arch and I didn't have any trouble getting them on, plus there is room to spare in the calf area. I wouldn't recommend these if you have really skinny calves, but if you have larger calves, DO IT. Also, the boot shaft is higher on the outside edge than the inside, and comes all the way up to my knee crease so it kind of gets in the way when I sit down, but for how beautiful these boots look standing up, I really could care less. :-]
Added bonus: the leather smells really fantastic. "

" Love these boots! Can be worn with skirt for professional wear or dressed down with jeans. They are comfortable and so far seem like they will last! "
