Comfortable riding boot
" I purchased this boot because I wanted a stylish brown riding boot to wear with jeans. I am 5' 8" and about 143 lbs and have slim to average calves. When I received this boot I found that the color was a true medium brown which I liked. The buckle detailing along the back adds style but I was disappointed that they don't do much to help adjust the fit of the boot. The shaft of the boot ran wide, so I was hoping to be able to tighten it for a proper fit. Even though the shaft was too wide for my taste, with jeans tucked into them they look okay. If the shaft was slimmer or able to be adjusted, I would give this boot 5 stars. For the price, it's a pretty good boot. It would be great for someone with wider calves. "

Very cute
" I got complements the first time I wore these boots. They are a bit tight on my feet, but I hope once they are broken in that they will be fine. "

Expected more but it will suffice
" I have been looking for a comfy black pair of boots for a long, long time. I wasn't able to find a pair that I liked in stores and I have been searching online for just as long. I finally settled on these. They are cuter in the picture than they are on me. I think perhaps they are wider in the calf than my calves are as the straps look loose on me rather than flush as pictured in the photos. They are also a bit narrow (for me) at the widest part of my feet (base of toes). I think with some more wear, that won't be an issue but these weren't as comfy or as cute as I imagined them to be in my mind. But they will suffice. In the mean time, my search for the perfect pair of black boots still continues..... "
