Brown yes, black no
" I got these boots in the brown and absolutely loved them! You can leave them up like in the picture but they do tend to slouch a but or you can roll them down (perfect for skinny jeans on a casual day out). I loved the brown ones so much that I got the black ones. Those however, I don't really like. I ended up keeping them because I wore them out the day they arrived without really considering if I loved them. They feel like a different and unpleasant material than the brown ones. The black are more like rough pleather but the brown ones are soft. The black ones don't look good rolled down and because the calf part is so wide the boots do this weirdness around my calf that I can't explain (wish I had bigger legs!). Anyway, brown yes, black no. Oh, they're supposed to go over the knee but they slouch to right under the knee (I'm 5'6) "

" The "slate" color was a shade lighter than pictured. Comfy, but slightly on the long side -- will have to wear them folded down or they come up over the knee. "

" these are actually kinda cute and really comfy..but I'm a little disappointed with the color...i got it in the slate color which looks more brown on the website, but when i got it its actually more grayish than brown..but other than that its pretty good..the quality is good as well and soft so its not stiff and goes on well..i was a little iffy about returning it since the color wasn't what i thought it was but decided to keep it since it is cute.. "
