The Comfort Converted Me
" I needed a pair of shoes to present at a national professional conference. After doing a lot of online research, I entered DSW to purchase a cap-toe Oxford shoe. I tried on versions of that shoe for an eternity (maybe 10 minutes, but that was too long for me) and picked one out. I was set to purchase.
On a whim, I tried on the Bostonian Bolton Slip-on because it was a beautiful shoe and I had time (my wife was enjoying the clearance rack). As soon as I put the shoe on and walked around in it, I was converted by the comfort.
I changed my mind, rejected all the research I had done on shoes, and put my other choice back on the shelf (in the correct place). I bought them and have not looked back! I have had these for fourteen months and they are my go-to pair for most days in the office. They are comfortable. They have held up well through the different seasons. They make air-travel a breeze (slip ons are great for getting through the TSA). My only worry is that my constant use has worn the grip off the sole. I may have to purchase another one soon. This time, I may get a pair in both colors. "
