" These boots are great- they don't look tack (like a lot of other extended calf boots). The additional room in the calf is perfect- not so much that you calves will be swimming, but enough if you have athletic calves or want to layer up with some wool socks. The color is more brown than I expected "cognac" to be, but regardless are a beautiful color. The distressing is natural and subtle. "

Love these boots!
" These boots are a great deal for the price! I have wide calves and have a hard time finding higher boots that zip up. These are a perfect fit, so comfortable even on the first wear. They look great with skirts and jeans.Got lots of compliments from the girls at work. They are the perfect fashion accessory for the fall. "

Too Narrow
" I was so excited to find these boots with a wide calf, they are great looking boots but the toes are very narrow and I ended up returning them because they were not comfortable - very disappointing :( "

Love these Boots! Perfect for "runner's calves"
" I just received these boots today and love them. I got the cognac color, which is nice and versatile. Also, the wide calf is great, though a tad wider than expected. But I knew that the normal calf would be too tight since I have runner's calves. Thankfully I've been playing around with the buckles in the back and made them tighter. That seemed to help. They're perfect under jeans, which is why I bought them. The footbed is a little narrow, but since the leather is a high quality, I know they'll stretch out as I wear them in. Also, I am petite (5 feet) so the boot is a little tall and hits me right at the knee. And the boot is about a 1/2 size big, but I'll just wear big socks. I got a size 5. Overall, great purchase and I highly recommend! I'll have these boots for a while. Simple, yet unique. "
