beautiful boot
" The leather on these boots is beautiful. I got the cognac color. The fit was true to my shoe size and my calf measures a little less than 15". I have plenty of room to fit skinny jeans in and they are still not overly tight on the calf.
I was a little disappointed that there were a few nicks on them and also what seemed to be a defect in the leather on the outside calf - so very noticeable. Unfortunately they were out of my size by the time I received the boots and tried them on so I was either stuck keeping them or sending them back. I called customer service and they were awesome! Gave me a discount sight unseen on the product if I wanted to keep them. So now I got a pair of boots with a few "worn in" looks to begin with but at a cheaper price! Great customer service as well! "

Not wide-calf enough
" These are really cute boots and appeared well-made, but sadly, I had to return them. My calf at the widest point is 15.25", and these boots are supposed to have a 16" circumference at the top. With a bit of help from my husband, I managed to pull the zipper up all the way, but it hurt so much. I had to immediately take them off. I truly don't understand how they measure the circumference for boots, nor do I understand why I, who weighs only 140 lbs. and wears size 8-10 pants (and do not have muscular calves), have calves that are too big for "wide-calf" boots. Sigh... "

NOT wide calf!!!
" This boot does not have a 16" shaft diameter. It is more like 11" and does not fit! Very disappointed. Nice quality, overall though. "
