Comfy boot and works for wide calf ladies
" These boots were exactly what I was hoping to find! I wanted a boot that would keep my feet warm during the snowy weather and have better traction than my shearling slip on boots. I was also looking for a mid/tall boot that was not bulky so they could be worn over or under jeans. And lastly and most importantly I have wide calves (15 1/2 in.). I ordered a half size larger (9 in dark grey) so I could wear with thick socks as needed. I love them they met all the requirements I was looking for. The lining goes all the way to the cushy foot bed and they have moderate traction on the soles. They fit my calves perfect with just enough stretch that I can wear both over and under my jeans without them looking chunky or bulky. The only down side I have found is that the zipper on my left foot hits directly on my ankle bone. So far no rubbing or soreness, but the feeling is a little strange. This may not be an issue for others, and is my only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. As well as, I have not worn them for more than a few hours, so not sure how I would feel at the end of an entire day. Overall they are very comfortable and I will buy again from bare traps. "

Cute, comfortable and warm!
" I bought these boots on the strength of the good reviews and I'm very happy with them. These are great winter boots - casual but still stylish. They run true to size, are very warm and comfortable enough to wear all day. "

Fantasticly warm!
" Ok so I got these boots because this winter I am going to be spending a couple weeks in the snowy mountains of colorado and I wanted something to keep my feet warm. I tried them on the other day and even just walking around in windy ohio they kept my feet so much warmer then they usually are this season. They are also adorable. I am very please with them. :-) "
