Good look, Questionable quality
" After sifting through nearly every riding boot DSW had to offer I bought these in black (as well as the brown leather TOTAL boots by Audrey Brooke).
PROS: These Jadine riding boots look very good on with leggings. They do have plenty of calf room, mine do not really touch my legs at all. These boots run true to size IMO with the mid-foot area leaning toward the narrow side. I went up a 1/2 size to accommodate thick socks. All in all, they are comfortable to walk in and the leather is soft. I wore them at work all day the first time with no discomfort to speak of.
CONS: The craftsmanship of this boot is questionable as the strap that goes all the way around at the top is not adjustable from what I can tell, but it also not flush with the boot. This is not noticeable from the side, but when looking down, it is very clearly detached from the boot in an unattractive way. Maybe it's just my pair, IDK. But, I almost sent them back because of this. However, after asking a few people, it didn't seem detrimental to them, they complimented me, so I kept them. BUT - it still bothers me.
ALSO - when I zipped these up the first time, some black gook was all over the zipper handles and it got on my fingers. They are also very smelly like whatever they used to dye the boot. So I now have to clean whatever that is off of the zipper before I can wear them again. That is kind of a bother. Also, as another reviewer mentioned, the zippers do clack just a bit when you walk, but this did not bother me too much.
SUMMARY: The design of these boots is spot on (they look great from the front and back) but they are not crafted with the quality you would expect from something that is genuine leather and in that price point. So - three stars only for the sake of their appearance. "

Versatile
" These boots are really sharp! The low heel keeps them casual and the sharp buckles & sheen of the leather let them go dressy! They are very comfortable and the zipper allows me to adjust the the tuck of my jeans as well as get my high arch, high instep foot into the boot. These are not knee high boots. I'm fairly tall & they reach a bit above mid calf. I have pretty skinny calves & these boots are pretty roomy but most are. The style is such that they don't look too big around my calves and I think they'd look good with a casual skirt or dress. My only complaint is that the straps around the boot to which the buckles are attached are a different material (maybe not leather) then the boot. "

" I was looking for a low heal boot that was brown, comfortable and stylish. I found all that in this pair of boots. I've received multiple compliments on them. They run true to size and have plenty of calf room. "
