Perfect boots with a sweater
" These boots are perfect... Nice tall wedge that gives me height but are also super comfy. And I love the over the knee boot.
I got a cozy sweater tunic to wear with these boots - maybe with leggings or stockings when the weather gets chilly.
So ready for fall now!!! "

" Mmm mmm mmm! These boots should be a staple in every girl's wardrobe. With a wedge heel, these boots are super comfy to strut your goodies around in. I would say these run a bit spacey. I wear 7.5 with boots, sneakers, and closed toe/heel shoes. However when I tried these in 7.5, my feet kept sliding forward, and I was wearing slightly thicker than trouser socks. I tried the 7 and it fit like a glove. As you go down sizes, the calf area gets a bit tighter. And I was happy with the snug (but not suffocating-tight) fit as it would keep the shaft from slouching too far down. I have a 14" calf circumference. Mind you, these are suede, and will have a tendency to be limp. Another reason I got it in 7 is because I don't see myself wearing thick socks with these, and maybe not even skinny jeans. I'd wear these with a mini/shorts/leggings/dress, and maybe even jeggings.
I got these in the tan color, which I love love love! As you may know, neutral colored shoes make your legs look like they go on for miles. Super flattering! I'm 5'4" and these hit just right above my knees, just like good OTK boots should!
Also, if you get these in tan, I would highly recommend waterproofing them since they're suede. Any moisture or wetness will easily show up and may dry up blotchy. And if you accidentally spill a cocktail on them (like clumsy ol' me would do), they would be protected from staining. Anyway, I think I've professed my love for these boots enough. " I love these boots! I had some serious issues with over-the-knee boots when they first came out (afraid to look like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman before she becomes pretty and rich!) but these are so great! They are suede and wedges which makes them unique and different than your standard black leather, pointy toed boots. The other great thing about them is because they are scrunchy when I go out on the town I can wear them like normal where I feel more comfortable wearing an above the knee boot but when I wear them to work, I just scrunch them down a bit further so they hit under the knee. So versatile! I tried out so many stores, so many different styles, and I'm so happy with this choice! Steve Madden's run true to size but they are a bit tight though so you could possibly consider going up half a size... so definitely try them on! "
