"Despite the reviews that said these boots run small I ordered the size 9 which is my true size. I have other shearling lined shoes and find no need for heavy socks under them. The shearling lining keeps me warm enough with a light weight sock. When I got the boots I saw that they are actually a 9 - 9 1/2 and in fact fit that way. They are a bit snug across the instep and a bit loose in the heel, with room in the toe if I do want to wear heavier sock. I wore them today and they were quite comfortable.
I was surprised though to read that they are only guaranteed to be waterproof 6 months from the date of purchase."

Super warm boot.
"I'd read prior reviews that said this boot runs narrow, and it is true. I usually wear an 8 or 8-1/2, and (against review-based judgement) ordered the size 8. It still fits just fine, but it is narrow against the length of the foot. It's also a tight squeeze for any thick socks until they stretch out a bit more. If I were to online order again, I'd definitely size up one, just for some extra room.
It is a tall boot, and well insulated all the way up. The cinch at the top--and the elastic lacing along the shaft--ensure that no snow ever accidentally falls down into my socks. Its soft "fur" lined, and is just absolutely amazing to slip into each time. When I received them, the rear heel had exceptional traction. The pad and toes of the tread were slick and didn't have much traction; I found I had to carefully change my walking pattern when walking on ice. I'd hoped this slick tread would eventually fade or rub off so that the whole boot could grip slick floors and icy patches, but so far it is just the heel.
As a boot, it has insulated and kept me warm in snowy winter, without sweating/overheating. As a shoe, it is a little slick because of the tread, and though I have never fallen in them I have had some close calls and have had to be extra careful. City/sidewalk walking? Probs not ideal. Hiking, snow expedition, and snow playing? Perfect. I'd definitely buy this boot again."

Adorable snow boots
"I love tall black boots. Winter in Michigan can be a challenge. These boots are warm and comfortable and as cute as can be. Paired with leggings or a skirt and tights. They will see me through the slush and mud of Spring without getting wet feet. They run a little small in all aspects. I usually wear a 9 and have muscular calves, so need a 10 with these.
and..... they don't look huge and clunky. ;)"

Would love them... if...
"They weren't so narrow in the foot! Overall they are an attractive, super warm boot that I really would love to keep... but its just too narrow in the foot. I would say I have pretty normal width feet, so I was rather disappointed. Oh well. :-( BUT if you have narrow feet, then these are great boots."

My Pajar Cosby Boots
"Very Prompt Service when I ordered by Pajar Cosby boots on-line at DSW. The boots are as nice as the photo and fit good. The bottoms are made of a tough material so the fit is snug through the top of the foot area, snug enough that I will have to avoid wearing sox until the boots are broken in. I have yet to try the boots in the cold New England weather as we have not had snow. Hope to return with the warmth review, but not to soon."
