Beautiful shoes, but won't survive long

"I love the aesthetic of this shoe. It's absolutely stunning. I really needed an elegant ivory shoe and these fit the description perfectly. However... I'm afraid this type of satin is all wrong for an ivory shoe. As another reviewer noted, I found slight marks and smudges on it as I was taking it out of the box. If that's what it's like brand new, I doubt this pair of shoes is going to survive very long in the real world. I sprayed them with shoe protector, but I'm not holding out much hope that these will remain in wearable condition after more than a few uses. Too bad because they are adorable."

"Style & comfort in one -- hard to find! My only issue is the satin seems to allow everything to cling. I ordered them in white and I've only wore them around my house and they already look a little dingy. Even when I first pulled them out of the box there was a small pen mark on the top. I love the design tho so I will probably exchange for a different color. Only reason I gave them 4 stars and not 5."
