Ok, had to share my idea on these boots!

" I had seen the trend of legwarmers tucked inside boots so that the top shows a "pop" of color, and with the whole "Fair Isle/Nordic" sweater thing that's so big now, I bought a couple pairs, and needed some boots that went up high enough to tuck the legwarmer into, but not so high that you couldn't see the legwarmer.
I loved these boots the minute I saw them. It was exactly the look I wanted, and I got lots of compliments the first time I wore them. ( My outfit was a simple, fitted black sweater, silver jewelry and skinny jeans.) They are extremely well-made, they exceeded my expectations: tight stitching, genuine suede, and they are very comfortable!
However, it bugged me that I was really limited to wearing them with only black or white (or maybe plain red) so I had one of those "lightbulb" moments and unstitched the sock from the boot so I can now wear them with lots of different colors of knee socks or legwarmers. You do need a "seam-ripper" tool, (available at any fabric store). I would not advise using scissors because you will unravel the sock and leave threads hanging. I posted a pic of me with my red legwarmers, which I bought at DSW also (Steve Madden brand).
It is a fun look to wear these with a sweater dress and leggings or skinny jeans. I wish they made these in brown! "

Love These Boots
" These boots are so comfortable and cute. They run about a half size big. I would recomed buying them you'll be very happy with your choice. "

" These boots are a little high for me but they work because of the wedge heel. I wear them with skirts and leggings in the winter and usually have a pair of nice socks on as well. They are a fun winter boot with some flare but not a pair of shoes that I would wear all day walking around in. "

LOVE
" I love these boots. Very cute and super comfy. The heel is a little taller than you would think but overall I love them. The sock portion stays upright. I have received lots of complimets on them. "
