"I didn't think I would like these shoes. I wanted a pair of brown double monk straps but wasn't familiar with this brand, and had some trepidation about spending that much on a pair of shoes I hadn't tried on. I love these shoes though! And I get so many compliments on them. They're so comfortable and really feel luxurious. The one big down side is that they need a lot of care and attention as they scuff and scratch very very easy! I attest it to the really nice leather but having to constantly watch what my feet are rubbing up against gets tedious. I just might buy another pair however, I like them that much."

"Beautiful Italian leather shoes for an awesome price. They were extremely comfortable, and fit perfectly. I would have rather gotten the double single strap pair, but I couldn't find one in black that was my size. But these will do nicely. I was told to wear it for my wedding."

AMAZING SHOES!!
"I have been wanting these shoes for a long time and finally decided to treat myself to them. I am in awe of them, they are a true work of art, the excellent craftmanship is obvious. I got them in cognac (brown), size 8 and they are a little long but I knew that this style of shoes runs long. I have a wide foot so they are a little snug but not uncomfortable. I am very pleased with my purchase, I am considering getting the black ones."

Double Monk shoes
"Not exactly slip ons but the are very good overall. They run a bit narrow but I left them on my shoe stretcher for a day and they were fine. I wore them to work and had them on for about 9 hours and felt minimal discomfort. The leather is top notch and the quality is amazing!"

Monk Strap: Finally!
"Been having my eyes on these since they were listed on the site! Run a bit long but Italian shoes will be that way. Purchased a 1/2 size smaller and still felt comfortable. They're not exactly 'slip on' as top buckle has to be opened. Nevertheless, it is a slick pair of shoes that are mainly for dress. With a pair of creased jeans or khakis, my students and colleagues will be impressed! If you love good shoes as I do, these could find a home in your closet!"

Beautiful Shoes
"I love these shoes. They are very comfortable. The leather is soft. The sole could have been slightly softer, but I am going to put an insert in to solve that problem. I highly recommend them!"

"I bought these for my boyfriend who needed a good pair of shoes that would work with suits but also allow him to walk a mile to work. These were perfect! They are comfortable (according to him), look good (according to many people that pass him), and the sole can be replaced when the time comes."

Just exquisite
"I had been trying to source the right double monks for some time. Some are too rounded, others too wide, others still don't get the buckles right. These double monks have been such a perfect find that I have had numerous people comment on how striking they are. I bought them in cognac. The quality of the leather and workmanship is exceptional at this price. They run a little narrow, which makes them look very sleek and elegant on the foot, and are very comfortable."

Nice quality shoe
"Over all the quality and comfort of the shoe was pretty good, but I had to return it because the Burnished Tan color wasn't as the website image. It was a lot lighter than I expected. Unfortunately the Brown was no longer available in store when I went to return so I gave up."

Buy 1/2 size smaller because they run long
"I usually wear size 12, but because the shoe runs long the 11.5 is the most comfortable fit. They are narrow shoes, but they're soft and comfortable to wear regardless. The bottom of the soles are very smooth. The buckles on the (monk) strap fastens easily. Overall, this is a really good shoe."

Worth it.
"Great looking shoe. Had a brown pair of double monk strap shoes, and had been looking for a black pair. These were a great addition. The leather isn't too stiff and the fit is good. Very reasonably priced for what you receive. I would definitely recommend these."

Brown Double Monk- Will Buy in Black Too
"I was looking for a double monk in brown and stumbled on these in store. It was exactly what I was looking for. Despite the fact it was about twice as expensive as what I wanted to pay, it was exactly what I envisioned on my feet. Shoes look amazing polished up and paired with any of my suits, black, blue, brown, grey. I love these shoes and highly recommend them. I will be buying in black as soon as possible."
